The former Ghana League Champions are having a difficult campaign this season.
The Reds are yet to pick a win in five matches after a decent start in the League, a performance which have created lots of crises in the team eventually resulting in the sacking of head Coach Zdravsko Logarosic and team manager Shilla Alhassan.
Awal Mohammed insist they will overturn their dwindling fortunes by recording a win in their next League game.
“One good result will see a big turnaround. It’s a matter of time which we surely want it to be in our next game,” he said.
“We [players] are equally worried as much as the fans are. They should not give up with their support for the team. With cool heads and the right approach, this team will bounce back to our best because we have the quality,” the centre-back added.
Kotoko sits fourth on the table with 19 points, 7 points below first place WAFA who have been able to secure 26 points.
The Porcupine Warriors faces an uphill task against second place Aduana Stars who have been impressive away from home this season.
