Defender Daniel Amartey could miss Ghana’s upcoming friendly matches against the USA and Mexico, Ghanasportsonline.com has been informed.
The Leicester City player is expected to join his side for their pre-season training exercise which begins later this month.
The situation according to sources could force the defender out of the games in order to make time to join his Club as they prepare for the new season.
Amartey will be using his side’s pre-season exercise as a perfect ground to snatch a first team place next season.
The Ghanaian international spent most of his time on the bench following the exit of Claudio Ranieri midway in the season.
