Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman has made a return from injury after six months in the treatment room.
The 22-year-old left-back has begun training on his way to full recovery.
Baba Rahman had been nursing an injury sustained whilsts in action for the Black Stars in an Africa Cup of Nations game against Uganda early this year.
He posted a video of himself training for the first time in 30 weeks.
His return could see Chelsea make a quick decision on the player who spent the entire season on loan at German Bundesliga side Schalke O4.
Schalke are reportedly interested in signing the former Augsburg defender on a permanent deal.
The former Ghana U20 man has a running contract with the English Champions (Chelsea) until 2020.
He missed Ghana’s 2019 World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia.
