Ghanaian midfielder Clifford Aboagye made a return from injury after coming off the bench to feature in Atlas FC’s 0-1 defeat to home to América in the Liga MX.
The former Black Satellites midfielder and 2013 FIFA bronze boots award winner started the game at the Estadio Jalisco and lasted 86 minutes before making way for Christian Osvaldo.
Aboagye was returning to action after months away with a supposed ankle injury.
He is likely to be in action when Atlas takes on Cruz Azul next weekend.
The former Inter-Allies ace had initially missed matches against Toluca, Potros UAEM and Pumas UNAM.
