English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed terms with FC Zurich for Ghana international Raphael Dwamena, the Club have confirmed.
The newly-promoted Premiership side are waiting for the player to arrive for his medicals.
Brighton have been in pursuit for the 22-year-old since the beginning of the transfer window.
A deal worth 15million euros is believed to have been reached for the striker to join the English side.
“Brighton & Hove Albion can confirm that the club has reached agreement with FC Zurich for the permanent transfer of Ghanaian international, Raphael Dwamena, subject to work permit and international clearance,” a statement on the Club’s website reads.
“The 21-year-old striker has also agreed personal terms with the club and is now awaiting clearance to travel to the UK for his medical.”
Dwamena will thus be joining fellow Black Stars teammates Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Christian Atsu, Daniel Amartey and Jeffrey Schlupp in the English Premier League.
