Ghana international goalkeeper Razak Brimah would be restricted to just domestic action in South Africa after his club – Mamelodi Sundowns, failed to register him for the CAF Champions League.
The Brazilians coach has explained the club could not register the 30-year-old former Cordoba and Mirandes keeper due to the late arrival of his International Transfer Certificate.
“Brimah’s ITC came late, so Razak is not registered for the Champions League. So he will help Denis [Onyango] in the local programme. We have Thela because we can’t go with two [goalkeepers],” Mosimane told media at the 2017/18 Absa Premiership launch.
The former Black Stars first choice keeper joined the the South African Champions following the departure of Wayne Sandilands to Orlando Pirates.
He headed to South Africa after failing to secure himself a deal in a Spain.
