Ghana U17 head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has firmed his sights firmly on lifting the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.
Fabin feels his side has been boosted by ten new arrivals who bring in a lot of competition and quality.
Fabin blooded in close to ten new players to the team’s camp in order to assess them ahead of the India showdown and he is convinced with the quality as he aims for success at the tournament.
“I can compete for the trophy perfectly because the performance of the new players such as Richard Danso from WAFA, the three Right to Dream boys, Isaac Gyamfi who could not made it to Afcon due to groin injury is also back fully fit,” the former Hearts of Oak coach told Football Made In Ghana.

There is big competition in the team and I believe is good for us. The team spirit and morale is also high, I can predict we will win the trophy,” he concluded.
Despite raving about his team’s quality Fabin is still expecting two players who are on trials in Europe.
WAFA striker Aminu Mohammed has joined Manchester City on trials while attacker Sulley Ibrahim who sparkled at the African U17 Championship is also on trials at Bayern Munich.
Two players who joined MLS side Portland Timbers have trials have also rejoined the side.
