Former Dreams FC and Bechem United defender Abdul Bashiru is optimistic Ghana can qualify for the 2018 Championship of African Nations tournament in Kenya.
The Black Stars B are just a game away to confirm their place at the competition.

Coach Kwesi Appiah’s side boosted their chances of making in to the tournament after holding West African neighbours Burkina-Faso to a 2-2 draw over the weekend in Ouagadougou.
The result gives Ghana an upper hand over their counterparts hence need to avoid defeat in the reverse fixture at the Babayara Sports Stadium.
Abdul Bashiru who was a member of the Black Stars B team before leaving for Kosovo is confident his colleagues can seal through by beating Burkina-Faso in the second leg.
“I believe Ghana can qualify ahead of Burkina-Faso,” he spoke to Homebase TV.
“In 2010 when I was with the team, we went there to draw 1-1 and when they came here we beat them to qualify so I am very confident the team can make it.”
The Black Stars B team are still in camp preparing for the hurdle ahead this weekend.
