Ghanaian midfielder Clifford Aboagye has successfully undergone a surgery after sustaining an injury.
The 22-year-old is currently recuperating after suffering the injury whilst in action for Atlas FC in the Mexican Premier League.
Aboagye is expected to stay out of action for some time in order to recover from the setback.
The former Ghana U20 star and 2013 FIFA bronze boots winner has been making the headlines in Mexico since joining Atlas from Spanish Club Granada.
A quick recover by the former Inter-Allies midfielder will excite Atlas FC Coach José Guadalupe Cruz Núñez who is hoping to have the talented midfielder back.
He has so far made four appearances this season for Atlas FC in the Mexican top-flight.
