Ghanaian striker Samuel Affum has terminated his contract with Egyptian Premier League side Wadi Degla.
The 26-year-old left the Cairo-based Club on mutual consents.
Affum departs the Club just a year after joining from Swiss side Young Boys.
The former Hearts of Oak attacker was reported to have been struggling with game time at the Club, however Affum has denied such claim.
“What has been put out there is not right, I terminated my contract and not because of game time as reported,” he told Ghanasportsonline.com.
“If they want details they should ask instead of making inferences,” he added.
Congolese striker Jean Marc Makusu has been signed by Wadi Degla as replacement for the Ghanaian.
