Ghanaian forward Godsway Donyoh scored a brace for Nordsjaelland but his double strike was not enough as they succumbed to a 4-3 loss against giants Midtjylland.
The former Manchester City loanee scored in the 66th and 80th minutes to inspire what could have been a late comeback for the Wild Tigers but they failed to earn a point from the game.
Midtjylland, the host, took a 4-0 lead and it took the effort of the former Right To Dream Academy graduate to inspire a comeback.
After Donyoh’s double, Mathias Jensen scored in stoppage-time to further cut down the deficit but there was not enough time to level the scoring.
Donyoh, who trained with the Ghana squad ahead of their campaign in the 2017 AFCON, has now scored four(4) league goals in his last five (5) games for Nordsjaelland.
Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante played the entire 90 minutes of the game for the losers while youngster Collins Tanor warmed their bench.
