Jordan Ayew started off his 2017/18 English Premier League campaign on a decent note as he starred in Swansea City’s goalless stalemate away at Southampton.
The Ghanaian international was a delight at the ST. Mary’s stadium as he ended the match as one of the best performers on the day.
Ayew enjoyed the full 90 minutes of the game and ensured his team picked a point away from home in the opening day of the League.
The 25-year-old threatened the goal area of his opponent on few occasions and provided a pass to Tony Abraham which nearly resulted in a goal.
The attacker is expected to live up to expectation this season having struggled to make an impression last season when he joined the Swans in the second transfer window from Championship side Aston Villa.
He managed just one goal at the end of the 2016/17 season at Swansea City.
His impressive performance on Saturday afternoon could be a boost for the former Lorient forward in subsequent matches in the English Premier League this season.
