Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng made his 100th Bundesliga appearance over the weekend.
The 30-year-old could not mark his milestone appearance on a perfect note as his side Eintracht Frankfurt lost 1-0 at home to Wolfsburg.
The midfielder was only making his second appearance since his move to Frankfurt after marking his debut in a goalless stalemate with Frieburg.
Boateng was hoping to mark his 100th appearance in the Bundesliga with a goal but could only mark the achievement with a defeat.
“Happy about my 100th game in Bundesliga!! Not happy with the result, but we will bounce back!! Let’s fight back,” he tweeted.
The former German youth international made 41 appearances for Hertha Berlin and featured 10 games for Borussia Dortmund.
The former AC Milan star also made 39 appearances for Schalke 04 before tallying his 100th game against Wolfsburg over the weekend.
