Newly-signed Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is happy to return to the Bundesliga after signing a three-year deal with the Eagles.
The 30-year-old completed a switch to the German Club after leaving Spanish side UD Las Palmas.
Boateng will be featuring for his fourth German Club after spells with Hertha Berlin, Borussia Dormund and Schalke O4.
The Ghanaian international can’t wait to kick start the Bundesliga campaign with his new Club.
“I missed Germany, and also playing in Bundesliga. It means a lot to me that Eintracht give me the opportunity to come home with my family,” he told the Club’s official website.
“ I am really looking forward to play in the German topflight again, it’s an exciting league. And I cannot wait to meet my new team mates, to wear the Eintracht jersey and to go out there and play.”
The midfielder will be introduced to his new teammates later this evening.
He might be handed a place in the team when Frankfurt travel to play Freiburg in the opening match of the season on Sunday.
The former Tottenham Hotspurs man was unsuccessful in his last stint with German Club Schalke 04 where he managed just six goals in his two-year stay with the Club.
