National Sports Authority boss Robert Sarfo Mensah says his outfit will render support to the Black Stars B team to ensure they book a place at the 2018 Championship of African Nations Tournament.
Ghana inch closer to qualification after drawing 2-2 with Burkina Faso last weekend.
The team is scheduled to host their counterparts in the return leg match at the Babayara Sports Stadium on Sunday .
Robert Sarfo Mensah during a visit to the team’s camp in Prampram urged players to give in their best and also assured support from the National Sports Authority.
“First of all on behalf of the National Sports Authority (NSA) , I will like to congratulate you for the good performance in Burkina Faso,” he said during the visit.
“It is not easy to go and get a draw away from home and so I have to congratulate you for the good job done.
“The mantle is not yet over, we will play them in Ghana and we have to win that match. You have the support of the National Sports Authority.
“We will make sure we support the team in our own way and do everything possible to help you qualify for the competition.”
Next year’s Championship of African Nations competition will be hosted by Kenya. Ghana missed out in the last edition after losing to Cote d’Ivoire in the qualifiers.
