Portugal-based defender Lumor Agbenyenu boarded a flight on Tuesday night and is expected in Accra on Wednesday morning, Ghana Sports Online can exclusively confirm.
The full-back confirmed to Ghana Sports Online he was leaving Portugal on Tuesday and not as reported by some portals that he had already left Portugal.
The 21-year-old played the entire minutes of the game for Portimonense when they lost 2-1 against Maritimo in the Portuguese top-flight on Monday and is now free to join the rest of the Ghana squad who are training in Kumasi.
His late arrival means he will only train with the team twice before Ghana play the Red Devils of Congo in a crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying double-header.
Lumor earned his maiden Ghana call-up under Kwesi Appiah.
