Duo Emmanuel Agyemang Badu and Mubarak Wakaso have been excluded from the Black Stars squad ahead of next month’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Congo, reliable sources have revealed to Ghanasportsonline.com.
The pair were not included in the squad which is yet to be released by head Coach Kwesi Appiah.
A leaked list circulating in the media also confirmed the exclusion of the two players from the squad.
Both Badu and Wakaso recently joined new Clubs in Turkey and Spain respectively
Badu, 25, joined Turkish Super Lig side Bursaspor on a season loan from Italian Club Udinese whiles Wakaso signed for La Liga outfit Depotivo Alaves after leaving Greek giants Panathiniakos.
The duo have not received an invitation since the re-appointment of Kwesi Appiah as head Coach of the Black Stars.
They were excluded from the team which took on Ethiopia in a Cup of Nations qualifier at the Babayara Sports Stadium in June this year.
Ghanasportsonline.com early on reported that France-based Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been given a call-up for next month’s qualifier.
