Ghanaian defender Abraham Akwasi Frimpong has underlined his desire to lead the defensive lines to see his Red Star Belgrade side knock out Arsenal from the UEFA Europa League.
Frimpong and his Serbian giants have been drawn in Group H along with the English dark-horses Arsenal, Bundesliga club Koln as well as Belarusian champions BATE Borisov in what has been tagged the group of death.
The Sunyani-born defender has been instrumental for the Reds since his arrival in January is aiming high.
“As you know, It is a tough group but we will do everything possible to qualify to the next stage just as we did in the qualifiers,” Frimpong told Football Made In Ghana.
“We will prepare very well and take it game after game as we seek to qualify to the knockout phase,” he added.
