West Ham United are ready to meet up Lorient’s £12million asking price for Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris.
Waris remains on the radar of Burnley who had an £8million offer rejected by the French Club.
Lorient are demanding for £12million before releasing their key asset with barely 48 hours to the end the transfer window.
A report by Skysport indicate that the Hammers are preparing to fork out the player’s price tag before Thursday’s deadline.
The Ghanaian international wants out of Lorient after the Club got demoted from the French top-flight.
English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion were also in the chase for the attacker.
The 24-year-old is attracting interesting after scoring 13 goals for Lorient in the French Ligue 1 last season.
