Ghana international midfielder Anthony Annan scored the all-important goal that helped HJK Helsinki to claim the Finnish top-flight league title.
The ex-Schalke 04 and Osasuna midfielder hit the back of the net in the 59th minute at the Telia 5G -areena to seal their 28th league title.
Annan’s goal that earned the victory for the giants sent them to 64 points, 18 more than second placed Lahti with five games left to end the season.
HJK reclaim the title they last won in the 2014 season.
While Annan was scoring on the evening his Ghanaian compatriot Evans Mensah was watching the entire action from the bench.
