Former Asante Kotoko striker Kofi Nti Boakye has joined Lebanese Premier League side Al Shabab Al Arabi on a season-long deal, Ghana Sports Online can exclusively reveal.
The 30-year-old has been unveiled by the Beirut-based club and is expected to make his debut for them when the season opens on Sunday afternoon.
In 2013, Boakye signed with Libyan side Al Ahli FC, He also played for Egyptian side Masri Makasa FC for another season before going on to play for Ifeanyi Ubah FC in 2015.
The former Ghana Premier League winner is the younger brother of former Ghana striker Isaac Boakye who played for German Bundesliga clubs including Wolfsburg, Mainz 05 and Nurnberg.
Nti, who also played for Heart of Lions and Liberty Professionals in the Ghana Premier League, knows the terrain in Lebanon after enjoying over four years of football in the Middle East.
