Ghanaian-born duo Noah Awuku and John Yeboah have been named in Germany’s squad for this year’s FIFA U17 World Cup.
The two players made the final cut named by head Coach Christian Richard WÜCK.
Awuku, 17, plays as a forward at German lower-tier side KSV Holstein Kiel whilst Yeboah, a midfielder is also on the books of VfL Wolfsburg Youth team.
The pair will be flying high the flag of their country of birth (Germany) at the expense of their native nation (Ghana).

The duo featured for the side during the qualifiers as well as the European U17 Championship.
They become the latest Ghanaian borns to feature for the Europeans at Youth level after Kevin-Prince Boateng and his half brother Jerome Boateng.
Ghana could however push for the Nationality switch of the players after the FIFA U17 World Cup where they will be eligible to play for the Black Stars.
Ghanasportsonline.com’s checks reveal Noah Awuku have duel citizenship as he holds both German and Ghanaian passports.
The 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup kicks off from October 6-28.
