Ghanaian striker Lawson Bekui lifted the Omani Super Cup title with Dhofar on Saturday after helping them to defeat Al Suwaiq Al-Seeb Stadium.
The 23-year-old former Dreams FC forward played the entire regulation minutes of the game as florin Motroc’s men marched on to claim the vital trophy.
Bekui was and influential in the win for the league champions who are gunning to defend their crown when the season begins on Wednesday.
Bekui feels proud of his achievement with the Al-Zaeem.
“It was the first official game before the start of the season and my performance in the game yesterday gives me signs of a great season,” he exclusively told Ghanasportsonline.com.
Bekui flourished on the Ghana Premier League scene in 2016, notching 7 league goals before heading abroad to seek greener pastures.
