Ghanaian-born Sweden international Joseph Baffo scored for Eintracht Braunschweig in their victory over Greuther Furth in the German Bundesliga II on Wednesday afternoon.
The former Euro U21 winner rose to the occasion to score the second goal for his side in the 28th minute, 6 minutes after his Swedish compatriot Christoffer Nyman has scored the opener for the side.
The goal is Baffo’s 2nd in 7 league games this season for Braunschweig.
Baffo joined the German side in 2015 summer from Halmstad BK and has been consistent in their campaign to win promotion.
He won the Swedish league and Cup titles with Helsingborg IF in 2010 and 2011.
He has declared his intentions to represent his country of birth – Ghana, at senior level but has failed to catch the attention of the Ghanaian senior national team technical handlers.
