Black Stars will be without striker Jordan Ayew for tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier against Congo.
Ayew has been ruled out of the game in Kintele due to food poisoning.
He becomes the latest to be excused from the game after captain Asamoah Gyan and his deputy Andre Ayew who have all been ruled out with various injuries.
The 25-year-old was expected to lead the attack for the Black Stars in tomorrow’s clash.
“It is likely Jordan Ayew cannot play the game against Congo tomorrow,” Spokesperson of the FA Sanni Darra said.
“As i speak he is suffering from food poisoning it doesnt look too good.
“We are hoping he gets better before tomorrow because he remains one of our key players.”
Richmond Boakye-Yiadom who has been in top form at Club level could be handed the nod in tomorrow’s game.
Winger Thomas Agyapong who also came on as a second half substitute in the first leg match in Kumasi could also be handed an opportunity to start the game.
Ghana have managed just 2 points from a possible nine so far in the qualifiers.
The Black Stars team team will leave for Congo this afternoon.
