Ghana center-back Nicholas Opoku hopes to continue his remarkable form at Tunisian side Club Africain after he was named the man-of-the-match in Sunday’s CAF Confederations Cup clash with MC Alger.
Opoku manned the back for the Tunisian side who avenge a defeat at the hands of the Algerians in the first leg.
The Ghana international was rewarded for putting up a spectacular performance for his side.
He has been named in Coach Kwesi Appiah’s 26-man squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda.
The 20-year-old joined Club Africian from former Ghana Premier League Champions Berekum Chelsea.
He is expected to join the Black Stars team after Saturday’s CAF Confederations Cup match against Supersport United.
