Aalesund winger Edwin Gyasi made his Black Stars debut when he came on as a second half substitute in Tuesday’s 5-1 win over Congo.
The Norway-based was introduced into the game in the 77th minute when he replaced midfielder Thomas Partey.
Gyasi who was an unused substitute in the first leg match played in Kumasi finally tasted action in the National shirt.
The former NAC Breda ace came on to stabilize the midfield of the Black Stars.
The 25-year-old almost got himself an assist after providing a nice looping pass to Jeffrey Schlupp who was too casual in his kick.
His decent performance could force Coach Kwesi Appiah to hand him another invite to the Black Stars team.
