Defender Samuel Sarfo is on the injury list after sustaining a knock in the last game against Nigeria

Amos Frimpong, Musah Nuhu, Emmanuel Ampiah, Thomas Abbey, Captain Isaac Twum, Gideon Waja, Patrick Razak and Samuel Sarfo are all reportedly on the injury list.

The above mentioned players leave the Coach with just 10 fit players for tomorrow’s encounter at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The situation will leave the former Kotoko and WA All Stars Coach with no option than to fix half-fit players for the game.

Meanwhile the medical team led by Doctor Prince Pamboe are putting in measures to have the players recover before tomorrow’s crucial game.

Ghana qualified to the semi-finals stage of the competition after topping Group A with 6 points hence setting up a clash with Niger who finished second in Group B behind Benin.

Deputy skipper Amos Frimpong is also a doubt for tomorrow’s game against Niger

The Black Stars B team wants to appease Ghanaians with the WAFU Cup of Nations title after missing out on the Championship of African Nations tournament (CHAN) following a defeat to Burkina Faso at the Babayara Sports Stadium,

Amos Frimpong, Isaac Twum, Gideon Waja, Samuel Sarfo and Patrick Razak sustained injuries in Ghana’s final group game against Nigeria.

The Coach (Maxwell Konadu) has been criticized for taking the risk by fielding his first team players in a game which was virtually an academic exercise having sealed qualification after a victory over Mali last Saturday.

Ghana could received the US$100,000 prize money should they defeat Niger tomorrow and possibly win the competition.
