Brimah Kamoko (Bukom Banku) finally succumbed to a defeat after losing to Bastie Samir in the non-title cruiser-weight bout at the Bukom Boxing arena on Saturday night.
The tough-talking Banku could not match up the strength of his opponent who came into the fight with 22 fights without defeat.
Bukom banku, favorite prior to the fight, started on a good note by dominating the first two rounds, however Bastie recovered strongly to take over from round three until he finally knocked down the famous boxer (Banku) in the seventh round.
Samir proved too strong for Banku with his continues jabs and punches in the 7th round which left the undefeated banku crawling after receiving a heavy clout in the face.
Referee Roger Banor had no option than to signal for the end of the fight after banku failed to hold on to the counts of the referee.
The comic boxer’s record now stands at (30-1, 22 KO’s).
