Winger Sadiq Ibrahim will be available for Ghana’s next game against Mali at the FIFA U17 World Cup.
The Right to Dream Academy attacker missed the team’s round of 16 game due to suspension.
Ibrahim picked up accumulated number of cards during the group matches which ultimately prevented him from featuring in the round of 16 clash against Niger.
Having served his one-game suspension, the player will now be up for selection when Ghana takes on Mali at the quarterfinals on Saturday.
The 17-year-old has already scored one goal for the Black Starlets after netting in the team’s opening match against Colombia, a goal which helped the Starlets secure their first 3 points in the competition.
His return could further give Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin selection headache following the exploits of winger Edmund Arko-Mensah who came to replace him in the starting line-up and looked to have justified himself for a regular spot.
