Ghana international Jonathan Mensah played a part in the Black Satellites FIFA World Cup triumph in 2009.
Today marked exactly eight years Ghana made history after becoming the first African country to win the FIFA U20 World Cup.
The Black Starlets conquered the World after beating former Champions Brazil on penalties in the finals.
Jonathan Mensah, a member of the team in 2009 recounts the glorious moment in his career.

Ghana has since made a huge impression at the FIFA U20 World Cup winning bronze in 2013.
The Africa powerhouse however failed to qualify for the last edition of the competition.
