Scottish trainer Frank Nuttal becomes the first Coach to qualify Hearts of Oak to the finals of the MTN FA Cup competition after 17 years.
The expatriate led the Rainbow Club to their first finals in almost two decades after the team’s 2-1 win over WA All Stars at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.
Patrick Razak and Kwame Kizito’s goals handed Hearts a victory over the defending League Champions.
Nuttal who was on the bench for the Phobians thus writes his name in the history books of the Club as one of the Coaches to have led the team to the finals of the FA Cup competition.
Former Coach of the side late Jone Atoquayefio was the last to have led the team to win the trophy back in 2000 where Hearts clinched all laurels at stake winning the FA Cup title, League trophy, CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup title.
Hearts are now a game away to increased their FA Cup trophies to 11 having held the record as the Club with most FA Cup titles.
The League contenders awaits the winner between Kotoko and Medeama who will scuffle out this afternoon after their match was rained-off on Sunday evening.
