Ghanaian striker David Opoku has successfully undergone a knee surgery following an injury he sustained whiles in action for his Club Muaither SC in Qatar.
The 24-year-old is currently recuperating from the horror setback during a League match.
Opoku, former Black Meteors attacker could stay out for at least the next six weeks but could make a quick return than the expected time having gone through the surgery by physician expert Philip Lundre who was the man behind the successful surgeries of Rademal Falcao, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adam Lallana.
The player prior to his unfortunate injury was the top man for Muaither SC in the Qatari first division League.
