Kotoko mathematically got themselves out of the relegation battle after drawing 1-1 with Ashanti Gold in match-day 27 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors reclaimed their fourth spot on the League table after forcing out a stalemate with their regional rivals on Thursday.
Hans Kwofie gave Ashanti Gold the lead in the 45th minute when he blasted in a shoot.
Kotoko managed to get the equalizer through striker Saddick Adams penalty goal with 3 minutes to the end of the game.
The result pushes AshGold one place up on the League table to 11th with 35 points hence still not save from the drop.
