Acting Head of Hearts of Oak Hackmann Aidoo has confirmed the Phobians will not appeal the red card against their captain Thomas Abbey.
Abbey was marched off in the 81st minute for challenging referee Yaw Ametepe during the Phobians 2-1 against Wa All Stars on Wednesday.
The Hearts captain has revealed he was sent off for refuting the referee’s claims that he’s more handsome than him.
Despite calls from Hearts fans to appeal for the repel of the suspension acting Head of Management of the 20-time champions Hackmann Aidoo has revealed his outfit has no intentions of appealing the red card.
“We don’t have any plans of appealing against the red card,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.
“We’ve also engaged the player not to react to everything that comes from the referee but what the referee said according to the player and collaborated by other players on the pitch is most unprofessional,” he added.
Hearts surendered their 51st minute lead to lose 2-1 against All Stars.
