Kotoko CEO Kwame Kyei believes the team will make a mark in next year’s CAF Confederations Cup.
The Reds will represent Ghana in the Confederations Cup competition after beating Hearts of Oak to win the MTN FA Cup.
Kotoko have been disappointing in their last three appearances in the inter-club competition failing to go past the second round.

The Club’s financier (Kwame Kyei) is optimistic his team will make an impression in Africa next year.
“For some time now Kotoko have been struggling in Africa, the team is unable to even get to the group stage and is worrying,” he spoke to Adom TV.
“But this time around we will make it a point to get far in the competition.
“We will try and do all we can to regain Ghana’s image in Africa, and with the support of the fans and everyone, I know we will achieve that feat.”
Kotoko only made it to the group stage of the Confederations Cup in 2004 where they were able to get all the way to the finals only to lose to rivals Hearts of Oak.
