General Manager of Wa All Stars Seth Panwum has accused the MTN FA Cup Committee for pushing Hearts and Kotoko to the finals of the competition.
The defending Ghana Premier League Champions succumbed to 2-1 defeat against Hearts of oak in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium but the successful football administrator has failed to credit the phobians for the victory.
According to him, match officials led by referee Reginald Lathbridge handed his side a raw deal during the game against Hearts of Oak which resulted into their exit from the competition.
Speaking to Ghanasportsonline.com, the football administrator accused the planning Committee over their calculated attempt to get Hearts and Kotoko in the finals to whip up their personal interest.
“Officiating was very poor in our game against hearts which I believe modern football should not be run in this way, but I am convinced that the MTN FA Cup planning Committee wants hears and Kotoko to reach the finals that is why they gave us such bias referees’’. He exclusively told Ghanasportsonline.com.
Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will play in this year’s MTN FA Cup finals after the Porcupine Warriors also defeated Medeama in the other semi-final clash.
