Italian Club Bologna are planning a contract renewal for Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah.
The midfielder’s current deal with the Serie A Club runs out in 2019, however executives of the Club are keen to tie him down with a new deal.
Reports indicates negotiation has risen sharply with a deal expected to be reached by the end of the month.
Donsah remains a big transfer target for several Serie A Clubs with Inter-Milan, AS Roma and Juventus all reportedly interested in a January move for the 21-year-old.
Reports say the player could be handed another three-year deal by Bologna, a deal which could keep him at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara until 2022.
After joining the Red and Blues two seasons ago from Cagliari, the youngster has become an integral part of Bologna’s first team squad.
The former Ghana U20 defensive midfielder joined the Black Stars team for the final World Cup qualifier against Egypt at the Cape Coast Stadium.
