Winger Christian Atsu could miss Ghana’s final World Cup qualifier against Egypt after the player missed the team’s training session on Tuesday.
The Newcastle United star was able to join his teammate despite fears he could miss the game due to a suspected injury.
His failure to train with the team has further raised fears he might miss the game on Sunday.
Atsu is being assessed by the medical team and could join group training on Wednesday should he be declared fit.
The 24-year-old is returning to the team after missing the game against Uganda and Saudi Arabia.
Coach Kwesi Appiah could still depend on his excessive arsenals in camp should Atsu fail to recover for the game.
