Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan could miss the team’s World Cup qualifier against Egypt after picking up a thigh injury at training on Wednesday.
The Kayserispor striker pulled out of the team’s training at the Cape Coast Stadium after sustaining the injury.
Gyan will undergo a test in Accra tomorrow before been declared whether or not to feature in the match on Sunday.
The 32-year-old was making a return to the team after missing the last qualifier against Uganda due to injury.
Coach Kwesi Appiah will shift his focus from the striker should he fail to recover on time.
Lorient’s Abdul Majeed Waris, Raphael Dwamena of FC Zurich and in-form Richmond Boakye-Yiadom are all available for selection.
