Kotoko is likely to release defender Abeiku Ainooson before the start of the new season, Ghanasportsonine.com has been informed.
The center-back is been deemed surplus by the Porcupine Warriors who are not willing to extend his contract.

Ainooson spent last season on loan at Ashanti Gold where he helped the team escape relegation from the Ghana Premier League.
The 25-year-old has been named as one of the players who could be hit by a massive shakeup in the team.
Coach Steve Polack is adamant of keeping the former New Edubiase captain in his team for next season.
The Englishman wants to release the defender (Abeiku Ainooson) to accommodate new signings before the start of the season.
The 2014 CHAN silver medalist joined Kotoko three seasons ago but left for a loan stint with Sudanese Club Al Hilal where he failed to succeed before making a return to the Porcupine Warriors.
