Medeama SC goalkeeper, Eric Ofori Antwi has expressed his desire to cross carpet to join the Hearts of Oak.
The former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper joined Medeama last season but failed to make significant impact in the team due to an in disciplinary records making him play second fiddle to Yaw Ansah.
The one-time- Amidaus Professionals stopper had already expressed his unhappiness with the proudly colorful club which led him to a suspension and eventually made him lose his position in the Club.
This development has put most of the local clubs on alert especially, the phobians who are already in the transfer marker to hunt for a quality and experienced goalkeeper.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, the former Black satellite keeper confirmed his readiness to join the mighty Oak tree.
“It is true that Heartsa have contacted me and I’m also interested to join them’’.
“I have written letter to Medeama to negotiate with Hearts to help me seal my move so I am waiting for Medeama to give me the green light to negotiate with Hearts’’. He told Nhyira FM.
Hearts is expected to get another quality goalkeeper to create competition for Benjamin Mensah.
