Reliable report reaching Ghanasportsonline.com indicates that Kumasi Asante Kotoko could offload eleven players whose services may not be needed by the club.
This development is aimed at bringing the best and quality materials who are ripped enough to compete for the Club in the CAF Confederations Cup next year.
The management of the Porcupine Warriors together with their technical head, Steve Pollack are said to have taken such decision with the view of replacing them with new set of players.
Players likely to be affected by the overhauling includes, Kwame Boating, Atta Kusi, Emmanuel Asante, Prince Acquah, Isaac Quansah, Abeiku Ainooson and Emmanuel Osei Bafour.
Eric Donkor, Richard Osei Agyemang and Isaac Amoako who were all first team players in the just ended season are also likely to be released by the Club according to sources.
However, the report stresses that Coach Steve Polack has recommend some players to the management in his bid to beef up his squad for next season.
Elvis Opoku [ Aduana Stars] , Caleb Amankwaah [ WAFA], Richmond Lamptey [WAFA], Gideon Waja [ WAFA] , and Ghana U17 winger Sulley Ibrahim U17 are all on the radar of the Ghanaian giants.
