Kotoko defender Ohene Brenya has retired from football after years with the Porcupine Warriors, according to media reports.
The center-back brought his football career to an end at the end of the season.
Brenya has been with Kotoko for the past six seasons but has finally decided to call-up a break.
The player before retiring was acting as the general captain for the Ghanaian giants, a position he took over from Club legend Stephen Oduro who also retired after spending more than a decade at the Club.
He was a part of the Kotoko team during the 2016/17 season helping the Club to win the MTN FA Cup competition.
The defender was played few games in the just ended season but enjoyed playing time in the team’s FA Cup matches.
He won three League titles and two FA Cup trophies with Kotoko.
