Thomas Partey scored a sensational goal as Atletico Madrid were held 1-1 at home by Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League.
The midfielder was handed a starting role and displayed one of his best performances in the Atletico shirt as the Spanish giants were denied their first Champions League victory at the Estadio Metropolitano.
Partey drew his side level with a stunning strike in the 56th minute to deny Qarabag from clinching all points after Michel had given the visitors the lead with a first half goal.
