Today marks exactly one year of the passing of veteran Ghanaian Coach EK Afranie.
EK Afranie who was one of the celebrated Coaches in Ghana died in an accident when he was being transported to the hospital via an ambulance.
The former Kotoko Coach was one of the highly-rated football managers in the country having worked with some of the National teams.
He Coached the Black Satellites at the 2001 FIFA U20 World Cup where the team won silver and also unearthed several talents such as Michael Essien, Derek Boateng, Sulley Muntari, John Mensah, John Paintsil and Razak Pimpong who all played for the Black Stars team.
The Coach before his death battled stroke which kept him out for more than six months.
