Black Stars goalkeepers trainer, Richard Kingston has threatened to quit his job with the National team.
The ex-Ghana international alleges his club, Emmanuel FC are being denied justice by the GFA judicial bodies regarding promotion to the Division one League.
Emmanuel FC missed out on promotion to Ghana’s second-tier League after the FA quashed a protest made by the Club.
The decision could force the former Blackpool gloves-man to cut ties with the Ghana Football Association and also relinquish his position as Black Stars goalkeepers trainer.
Kingson during an interview with Accra-based Asempa FM is said to have hinted his decision to leave the National team.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup quarterfinalist however revealed his plans to drag the issue to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
“This is not fair, we had a clear case by they decided to rule against us, I will do everything possible to have the decision overtuned in our favor,” he said on Atinka FM.
“If they (GFA) stick to their decision we will take the matter to CAS, I will report the issue to CAS to seek justice.”
The celebrated Ghanaian goalkeeper was appointed the goalkeepers Coach for the Black Stars to replace Nassam Yakubu following the re-appointment of Coach Kwesi Appiah who changed his backroom staff upon his return.
