Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah says Egypt star Mohamed Salah remains favorite to win the 2017 Africa Footballer of the year award.
Salah made the top three for the award and will be competing with Gabon’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyung and Senegalese International Sadio Mane.
The Liverpool star remains top of the list following his incredible form for both Club and country.
Kwesi Appiah believes the 25-year-old is undoubtedly the favorite to win the award.
“I tip Mohamed Salah to win the Football of the year, undoubtedly he has make a significant impact for both Club and country,” he told the press.
“All the three deserve the award because of what they have done this year but for me I see Salah winning this particular one.”
The former AS Roma star has already won the BBC Africa Footballer of the year award.
He is currently the top scorer in the English Premier League with 14 goals for Liverpool.
The ex-Basel talisman will be leading Egypt at next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
