Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Leonard Tawiah has debunked media report that suggests he is in talks with Ghana Premier League Champions, Aduana Stars following the expiration of his contract with the Phobians.
The ex- Aduana Stars midfielder was the fulcrum at the Phobians midfield in last season’s Ghana Premier League with his aggressiveness and perseverance helping the Club to a third place finish.
Reports were rampant the impervious midfielder was on the cusp of joining the Dormaa-based Club after his contract with the capital-based side elapsed.
Tawiah has however denied the said reports insisting he is quite oblivious about such news.

In an interview with Ghanasportsonline.com, Tawiah emphasized that he is still negotiating with the phobians for contract extension and no other club have so far approached him.
’’ I’m currently in negotiations with hearts for contract renewal which we are hoping to reach consensus,” he told Ghanasportsonline.com
’’ I’m currently in Takoradi for a small holidays and if God permit, I will leave for Accra next week’’.
‘’ And let me hasten to add that it is not true that Aduana Stars have spoken to me so all what you hear in the local media is a rumor.’’
“However, Whiles I’m negotiating with hearts, I also pray for foreign offer which I will not hesitate to grasp.”
Hearts is expected to tie down Leonard Tawiah to the club within the shortest possible time.
