Ghanaian Boxer Emmanuel Tagoe retained his IBO Lightweight belt after defeating Argentine David Saucedo in a rather dramatic way.
The fight left boxing lovers disappointed following some “unethical” incidence which occurred in the bout.
Hundreds of spectators left the Bukom Boxing Arena unhappy with the outcome of the much-publicized bout.
Tagoe, nicknamed “Game Boy” stopped his opponent in the tenth round after some droll moments in the previous rounds where the Ghanaian sent his Argentine compatriot down on two occasions.
Saucedo who had a decent record of (61-7-3, 10 Kos) first visited the canvas in the second round however beat the counts of the referee to continue the fight.
The visiting boxer for the second time went down after receiving a heavy punch by the Ghanaian which saw the latter visit the mat once again.
Tagoe, one of the highly-rated emerging boxers in the country in a bizarre way displayed some dancing moves in the cause of the fight taking everyone by surprise.
Saucedo after several complaints in the fight went down for the third time in the tenth round which forced referee Roger Banor to wave off the fight to the displeasure of the many fans who made their way to the Bukom Boxing arena to catch a glimpse.
